Last Friday I had the pleasure of being scheduled OFF! I haven’t seen a Friday off in quite some time. Though I was actually a little under the weather for the latter part of last week (somewhat of a reason I’ve been absentee for awhile), I ended up putting my off day to good use. An acquaintance of mine has a birthday next month, so we spent all day Friday finding her ensembles for her birthday weekend. My Dad was gracious enough to snap a few quick pics for me, right before heading out the door.

I try not to stick to mass market retail, if  I don’t have to. So, we ventured out to some new places, and it turned out to be very beneficial. We ended up finding her 2 dresses that she loves; so that made me happy. Out next outing will be for shoes and accessories…the fun stuff.I had quite an eventful week, but I like it that way. I hope you all had an awesome week, and have another to follow.

Sunday, my sis-in-law held an event to celebrate PampHer’s one year anniversary. It was held at Midcity Cafe…a very city chic hang out spot I’ve grown to be fond of. Decided to call the day’s wardrobe theme  “End of the Summer”- pack it away or give it away. So I chose this lavender dress and crochet mules to give me what I call, Sunday Delight. I have always loved these mules for their quirky, yet feminine flair. If you haven’t noticed, I have a new favorite piece. I picked up this gold necklace in JcPenny for little or nothing. Wasn’t going to get it, because I told myself I didn’t need it, but little did I know that I did. Paired with the day’s ensemble for my lady-like touch. The event went well, and I am so proud of Akuba, and her dedication. I hope everyone has a wonderful week. I have a long one ahead of me, but I’ll be back very soon….I have a movie premier to attend Monday evening. So TTYS

I spent my Saturday out, and about with one of my besties. She had errands to run, and wanted to take me to meet a friend of hers that owns a boutique. There were quite a few pieces I plan to go back for, so I will disclose more info at a later date. Although the sun was shinning bright, and the Georgia temperatures were high, I opted for all blue. I didn’t get to use my cardigan, but I grabbed it in case the evening brought a little wind. All in all, my Saturday was like I like them….out of the house with some of my favorite people (went out with my other bestie later that night) with nothing but life to live. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.

What can I say….Chloe knows how to win a girl’s heart. You remember last year I was in love with the two-toned lace-up wedge boot. I still would love to have a pair, because they are still just as fabulous. However, a few weeks back I witnessed this season’s See by Chloe Lace-up wedge bootie. Can you say-everyday wear?
