Kanye West “Paranoid”

Ok, so I may be very late on seeing this video, but I just saw it for the first time and LOVED it!!! Kanye’s themed videos have been a breath of fresh air in the video world. This video is one of the many reasons he is up for a VMA! Ri Ri was a smart way to go for the leading role, and almost played that part a little too well, but you didn’t hear that from me 😉

Shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes, and SHOES!!!

So many of us adore the plethora of styles of footwear we are being offered to fawn over and presumably purchase, but may not know the hundreds of brands, what style, where to buy , or when the best time is to buy. On the opposite end of the spectrum, some of us are simply just impulse shoppers or immediately know what we’re looking for. Well ladies, I have exciting news for all of you. Kim Kardashian has created a business designed to provide you with your own team of personal stylist… for shoes!  Shoe Dazzle. The team of stylist will offer 5 pairs of shoes for you to choose from for $39 a month.  Now we all know that $39 is a reasonable price to pay for a pair of shoes when there are $100 (and over) pairs of shoes on the market. With this service you’re able to build your wardrobe with a guarantee of variety and with little effort. The great part about it is that you are able to decline a pair in any given month without being charged!

I highly recommend you stop by there and check it out…it’s at least worth perusing.

If anyone joins please feel free to come and share your experience.

Project Runway’s 6th season premier was surely entertaining, as a model was sent down the runway almost nude, due to a designer measurement mishap. Nonetheless, all was not lost for Mitchell Hall who was given a second chance while competitor Ari Fish was eliminated for her design, described as unsuitable for the red carpet. Although there has only been one episode competition is thick and is sure to make this a great season.

I’m sure that TVland is excited about season 6, but we cannot forget about previous contestants and winners. This guy was a risk taker filled with energy all packaged into one small insanely talented package. Project Runway’s season 4 winner, Christian Siriano, now has a line for Payless! I was surprised to hear of this line and just had to share with those of you who were not aware. Siriano’s recession ready line premiered in New York Fashion week in February featuring accents such as spikes and chains. The designer’s desire for everyone to be able to afford something from his brand is the motivation behind the footwear. Siriano’s line is scheduled to hit 400 Payless stores nationwide this fall.

While doing research I journeyed to where I found a few pair of Mr. Siriano’s shoes. Judging by the pairs I found online, I am not enthused. I am in hopes that these are not the final representation of the runway styles presented at fashion week, and that Christian will come with something fierce as we all expect. So, the anticipation begins…I’ll be back with an update when the footwear hits stores.

The Kardashian sisters have taken over reality television and they’re not stopping there.  2009 is surely the year for the trio as they make bold moves and turn heads.  It was recently leaked that Kourtney Kardashian will be a mother. Kourtney and boyfriend, Scott Disick, are expecting a bundle of joy after putting an end to their on and off relationship at the end of last season’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”  The news of the baby will actually be featured on this season’s “Kourtney and Khloe Take on Miami.” I’m wondering if the baby will put a hindrance on the sisters having another season in Miami…guess we will have to wait and see.

Kim Kardashian, the sister who brought the family to primetime, is changing things up as well.  Kim and Reggie Bush are no longer an item, but that will not stop Kim. Kim is still busy with all of her many endeavors, but decided that she needed a new look. Kim has gone blond. I love a change and totally support her new look. Do I like it better than her dark locks? Not per se, but it works.

I am positive these girls will be in the spotlight for awhile keeping us entertained with their wild Kardashian ways.  Don’t forget about “Kourtney and Khloe Take on Miami” premiering tonight. I’ll be watching.

Solange truly looks gorgeous with her new low mane and sweet persona.  Although the masses are approving of her new do, many are not so fond of her style. Here, Solange is sporting, as well as promoting, Samantha Thavasa’s new Disney inspired handbags. Critics were not fond of Solange’s metallic bag, and referred to her shoes as bizarre.

I find her ensemble to be adorably rock-star! The metallic pink tiered skirt is paired very well with the gold Mickey Mouse S.T. bag.  Her suede and gold Moschino heels were the perfect choice to tie in the separate metallic pieces, while adding a touch of rebellion.

Solange and Beyonce are the faces of Thavasa’s new line, and the girls have been busy promoting.  Below are photos of the sisters promoting S.T. new line in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan.

Jeremiah \”Imma Star\” (watch video here)

Lately, I have been disappointed with some choices artists are making when developing and producing their music videos. Jeremiah’s new video, “Imma Star,” is a breath of fresh air. Many artist are creating videos based on them and their lives and having fun, yet it’s not fun for the fan to view.  On the other hand, Jeremiah appears to being having a ball displaying his “star status.”

Jeremiah gets kudos from me…how about you?

Nothing beats a summertime read. I found this one in one in my local Walgreens on a random day. Ten chapters in and its great. I know…I know… if it were so great I would be done. No, have to put it down so I can to you all; and plus, I didn’t want the summer to pass away holding out on a treasure. So, check it just may be in your local market.

bootiesThe bootie is year round footwear, but fall is fast approaching. It’s time to get your fall footwear in order. I have been looking for a closed-toe bootie for sometime now and seemed to run into FABULOUS open-toe booties, but they weren’t what I wanted at that time. Then, this cutie was brought to my attention. I was excited to find a decent bootie that was closed-toe, and the platform sole sold me even more. I find it simple and surely a good start to fall.

I am working hard to get BJC up and running for your viewing. I want you all to know that I appreciate your support and my anticiaption is high as well.

Thanks again and we’ll be blogging soon!
